Eyelet Join Headband

This headband is knit as one long rectangle with eyelets along both sides, then seamed on the machine. When the separate join is knit you pick up the eyelets on the rectangle as you go so there is no handwork to finish. Using contrast colours or yarns for the join makes the headbands more interesting and colourful.

The finished samples in 4-ply acrylics measure 21"/53 cm but it would be easy to alter the size or use another yarn or gauge of machine.
