• this is a fun project to learn to use your garter bar to increase and decrease across the row; you can use waste yarn if you prefer
• there are two slightly different methods of shaping which give slightly different looks to your snowmen
• samples were knit in Yeoman Cashmilon 4-ply acrylic; each snowman requires 15-30 g
• stuffing and something to weight the bottoms are needed as is your imagination for personalizing them
• please use care when decorating if you intend to allow small children to play with your snowmen
• sample gauge: 7.25 sts x 10 R per inch but it is not important
• finished sizes of the samples: 13-15 cm or 5-6" wide x 15, 23, 30 cm or 6, 9, 12" high
